"Wow, [EBRS staff] .. How can I thank you enough for putting on the most amazing Food Expo?.. I tell you, that was a day I will not forget.. This was my first exposure to your store and all that it has to offer.. I was definitely in "Kitchen Heaven"....
From the moment I walked into the store until the time I left.. I was treated with such warmth and incredible service.. The friendliest people.. the most knowledgeable staff... It was easy to shop.. easy to find what you were looking for and it certainly exposed you to things you just "HAD TO HAVE"....
As far as the classes and the visiting chefs... hands down the coolest thing.. The chefs were fun, taught amazing dishes that not only were incredible, beautifully plated and delicious.. but they taught and explained about the foods, spices, etc in a way that made you want to drive right to the grocery store to purchase supplies to go home and cook right after the class.. (which I did)... It doesn't matter if you have been cooking for years or just learning how to cook.. these classes appeal to us all....
I loved getting to sample the foods around the store. Oh, my goodness.. it was all scrumptious. It was so much fun to see foods being prepared, meeting owners and chefs from various local restaurants and businesses... I could go on and on.. I will not ever miss another event like this.

Today we received our order for 8 complete sets of 24x36x74 Chrome wire hutches.
I just placed the order on Friday of last week and received then Tuesday morning. Amazing!!
What made the whole thing so much more "Awesome," was Carlos' (the delivery driver) ability to unpack, unload and deliver all 11 boxes, totaling 2 pallets, without a drop gate on the back of his truck. Without a drop gate!! Are you getting this!
He was so nice and so cool about the whole thing. I really think that he should be applauded for his patience and commitment to his job, delivering for EBRS. |

This note is long overdue. We received a 3-door Traulsen freezer (around 12/31/08), which was delivered on a day that school was closed. I came by the school to help with an off-duty custodian, Maria Valcazar.
The drivers Fidel and Ruben were completely patient while we opened the building and worked through some problem solving to get the unit in to the kitchen successfully. They worked incredibly hard and stayed at least 45 minutes until the unit was safely inside the building. I really appreciate their help and attention to detail. Their job doesn't look easy, and they should be appreciated. They are very hard workers. Thank you. |

From the beginning, of putting our order together, you were very, very helpful and followed through on each question. You both e-mailed and returned calls promptly. You stayed after hours the first day my wife and I stopped by and we never felt rushed or that we were inconveniencing you. That in my book is a sale's quality that demonstrates EXCELLENCE. I always felt comfortable asking you questions and making a few changes to our order. Your product knowledge was EXCELLENT and when you didn't have the answer you quickly sought it out and got right back to me. All of the above are examples, as well, of EXCELLENT Customer Service!
Our past experiences, over the years, with Steve, have been EXCELLENT and now that we're back in business, you made it a wonderful experience to come back to East Bay! Unfortunately, some of the items/equipment may be of a crucial nature to purchase and get back into operation. It can add so much stress to our lives, but you and Steve have the concept down, on how to treat customers under those circumstances.
I have one more important mention to make and that was my appreciation to the two men who delivered the two units to our cafe, yesterday afternoon. Besides our gratitude to you all, for making a delivery time, that worked best for us, considering the urgency, the delivery men were GREAT! They had gone to the old address. We had moved from that location, across town, due to a fire which closed us down several years ago. They kindly called for directions and came to deliver with A+ attitudes. They were truly helpful!
Please pass our appreciation around. We look forward to purchasing other items in the future from you!
